Conn 22b trumpet serial # (226615) (Refurbished by Chuck Ward )Here is a Conn circa 1925. 22b trumpet in the keys of Bb and or A comes with the extra tuning slide and the original mouthpiece and mute and valve/ slide oil. Along with cleaning tools and the original case. the engraving on the bell is untouched. This trumpet is NOT A PEASHOTTER This is a full-size trumpet with a 4.5/8-inch bell and the infamous .438 Conn bore. When C. G. Conn first introduced this 22b to the world of trumpet musicians it became widely accepted by orchestras all over. Its ease of blowing without having to strain to keep it in tune or to play pianissimo or fortissimo without Lossing the wonderful color of sound that was produced, however through the years with added improvements it soon found its way into a wide variety of jazz classical and combo work players alike. All numbers match as they should, and the year of this particular trumpet is approximal 1925 as you see in the Horn a copia with the pictures provided. This trumpet comes to you blemish free of defects and as you see is in the beautiful condition it is kept. not only for collectability reasons but as a very strong playing trumpet to be used in any type of work you may have to do. ( Please don't confuse or compare this trumpet to the 22b trumpet of today this is a Very real true to life Professional trumpet and should not be handed to a student unless he or she are of professional quality and or experience (IMO) I tried to take the best pictures possible with an I phone 13pro max camera the mouthpiece has a diameter of 1700mm being a Bach standard #1 trumpet mouthpiece and is very playable ,the action on the valves are precise and lighting fast without any hesitation all slides are as smooth as silk this trumpet comes to you ready to play as soon as you open the case.
